Braden is known in the technology field for taking SaaS startups from idea to market. His career began at PayPal, where he gained enterprise experience as both a software engineer and product manager. His contributions led to PayPal filing over 20 patents around technology he designed, earning him the recognition of PayPal’s Top Inventor.
After his tenure at PayPal, Braden founded Sparrow, a reporting platform for marketers. Leading the team, Braden secured funding, steered the team through challenges and pivots, grew the product to over 6000 users, and successfully guided the company to acquisition. This journey not only highlights Braden's talent for building and launching new ventures but also his resilience and adaptability in the face of uncertainty.
Braden now combines his founder experience and technical leadership to offer strategic consulting for early-stage SaaS ventures. He excels in transforming ideas into market-ready products by leading engineering teams, facilitating customer discovery, and developing go-to-market strategies. His proficiency as a Fractional CTO and 0-1 Product Manager, especially in the critical 0 to 1 phase, enables him to enhance any SaaS project with scalable and customer-aligned solutions. Braden's approach ensures that technology strategies not only meet current market needs but are also poised for future growth.
Outside of his work, Braden commits time to mentoring new SaaS entrepreneurs through Future Founders and the University of St. Thomas, his alma mater. Away from the digital world, he's often found teaching his dog Yoshi new tricks or improving his racquetball game.
